UPDATE: Duffy Denies Being Pressured to Drop Out of RBA Job Hunt

Lt. Gov. Robert Duffy says he was never pressured by Governor Cuomo to withdraw as a candidate for the top job at the Rochester Business Alliance.

Duffy tells The Democrat and Chronicle he voluntarily withdrew a week to ten days after interviewing for the executive director position on October 5th. And despite a suggestion in The Albany Times Union that ethics matters may have triggered his withdrawal, he says he fully reviewed the ethics issues before interviewing -- and they were never a concern.

The governor's office also denied pressuring Duffy to bow out.
