Rochester, NY -- The annual St. Patrick's Day Parade is Saturday in downtown Rochester.
Organizer Mark Dowdell says it starts at 12:30 at East Ave. and Alexander St. and will follow East to Main St. and Main to Plymouth Ave. The parade will have more than 100 marching units and 17 bands from as far away as Ohio.
A green stripe has already been painted along East Avenue near the starting line.
City crews have promised to have the snow of the streets and sidewalks for marchers and spectators .
