Sodus woman injured in car vs. truck collision

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office says a 78-year-old Sodus woman has been hospitalized after her car was hit by a tractor-trailer on Route 104 in Sodus.

The truck driver didn't stop, and police are looking for the rig which may have been towing a flatbed trailer.

Deputies say Elinor DeCann was driving west on 104 when she collided with the eastbound truck. Her car was heavily damaged and she was seriously injured. She's being treated at Strong Memorial Hospital.

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone who may have information to call them.
