EXCLUSIVE: Medical Support for Postal Worker's Nerve Agent Exposure Claim

Rochester, NY -- There's an update on the ongoing story of Jeffrey Lill, the area man who says he was sickened three years ago by a nerve agent while working at a Florida post office and is waging a legal battle.

His lawyer and his mother, Janet Vieau, tell WHAM 1180 Lill has responded to a medical treatment that a doctor says is only effective when the underlying cause is a nerve agent.

Lill claims he was exposed while handling a package with an address from Yemen. He claims he handed the package over to hazardous materials authorities. What happened to the package after that is a mystery.

But the Postal Service has denied Lill's tort complaint. His lawyer says the next step may be a lawsuit in federal court in Rochester.
