Arrest in Case of Starved, Abandoned Dog

Fairport, NY -- Authorities are announcing the arrest of a Rochester man in an animal cruelty case from January.

The investigation began when a male dog was surrendered to the animal shelter, emaciated and nearly frozen. An animal rescue group, Rescued Treasures, named the pit bull mix "Jack Frost."

He reportedly had been left alone for weeks.

Kevin Williams was arrested Wednesday and is accused of torturing and injuring an animal and failure to provide sustenance.

The dog is doing better and here's a link to a YouTube video of him.
